About COMEDK?
This is a state level exam held by the consortium of Engineering, medical and the dental college of Karnataka, earlier in 2015 this entrance exam was held only in Karnataka.
But now this exam is conducted in various states cities like Ambala, New Delhi, Faridabad, Meerut, Rajkot, Hisar Karnal and many more cities.
This entrance exam is conducted for the admission to undergraduate engineering courses at an average of 190 colleges in Karnataka state.
As per the exam pattern issued there will be 1 mark given for each correct answer with no negative marking. This exam is conducted once a year. In 2021 this exam will be held online.
This exam is held for both the candidate’s seeking admission in B. Tech course and B. Arch course.

Eligibility Criteria for Top 20 Engineering Colleges Under COMEDK
Engineering aspirants wish to get admission to the COMEDK top 10 colleges.
Candidates who are not able to secure their seats in the COMEDK colleges in the top 10 ranks will still be able to make it to the top 20 engineering colleges under COMEDK if they meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
The candidate should have passed 2nd PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or an equivalent exam.
The candidate should have passed the above-mentioned exams with PCM and English as a compulsory subjects.
He/she should have qualified for the above exams with a minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category of Karnataka state).
The candidate should be a citizen of India.
The candidate is required to have their original
documents in place since they will be required to produce them at the time of COMEDK UGET 2022 counselling
