Enroll for Symbiosis Direct MBA via SNAP 2022 – Symbiosis International University has announced that SNAP 2021 will be conducted on three dates in December 2021 and January 2022 and the dates are 19th December 2021, 08th January 2022, and 16th January 2022.

Brief about SNAP Test

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test that is popularly known SNAP is the common and mandatory entrance exam for MBA admission to 16 symbiosis institutes affiliated with Symbiosis International (Deemed) University Pune.

Every year around 1 lakh students from different disciplines including Engineering, Science, Commerce, Humanities, and even Law students are taking SNAP to check their fate for 2500 MBA seats in all 16 Symbiosis Institutes.

If you’re aspiring to join MBA program offered by any Institute under Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, you’ve to take common and mandatory SNAP Test that is conducted on CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.

You need to follow below steps:

  • Registration for SNAP Test
  • Pay the registration fee for SNAP Test
  • Apply for programs and institutes as per your choice
  • Pay the application fee for the programs and institutes separately

SNAP 2021: Test Pattern

SNAP Test pattern has been changed last year due to COVID-19 in terms of time duration and number of questions.

Earlier, SNAP was conducted once in a year, now it is conducted three (thrice) in a year in December and January. SNAP 2021 will be held on three dates in December 2021 and January 2022.

You can take SNAP Test upto two times and the best performance among the attempts will be considered for the final percentile calculation.

SNAP Test duration has been reduced to 1 hour from 2 hours, and total number of questions are also reduced to 60 from 110.

SNAP 2021: Marking Scheme

Like other major MBA entrance exams such as CAT or XAT, SNAP also has three common sections – Quant, LR/DI, and English.

Each section has different number of questions making total of 60 (MCQs) questions. Each question carries 1 mark and ¼ mark for every wrong answer. Here is the sectional marking scheme in SNAP 2021.

SNAP 2021: Application Process

There are 16 MBA colleges offering MBA programs under Symbiosis International (Deemed) University Pune for which you need to appear in SNAP 2021 Test for MBA admission in 2022 session.

The application process for SNAP 2021 and Symbiosis Institutes have been started with the start of SNAP 2021 registration process (from 13th August 2021 to 27th November 2021), you need to apply for MBA admission by paying 1000/- for each program in your preferred Symbiosis institutes before they close their last date to apply. 

SNAP 2021 Test will be conducted thrice on three different dates out of those you can select two different dates as per your choice by paying 1950/- as the SNAP Test registration fee.

However, after paying the registration fee for SNAP Test, you cannot change your details in the application form like name, date of birth, category, test city and test date, so be cautious while applying for SNAP Test.

SNAP 2021: Shortlisting and Selection Process

If you’re shortlisted for any program which you’ve applied at the time of registration process, you would to need to participate in the further rounds of the selection process that is GE-PIWAT conducted by the Symbiosis Institutes.

And the respective Institutes will publish the list of selected students based on their performance in the GE-PIWAT and their overall SNAP Test percentile.

In order to get shortlisted for any particular program and institute, you need to score the cut-off for the respective programs and institute based on your SNAP percentile you might be shortlisted for more than one program, and you need to participate in the GE-PIWAT for each program separately.

SNAP 2021: Merit List and Selection for Program

Based on your overall SNAP percentile you’ll be shortlisted for GE-PIWAT for the respective programs and institutes, and the final merit list will be declared by the same institute as per your performance in the GE-PIWAT.
