The RIT admission process for BE/B.Tech is based on the merit in the entrance test conducted by KEA or COMEDK. For admission in the B.Arch course, candidates have to appear in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).
For admission in the M.B.A course, candidates have to participate in one of the following entrance exams – KMAT/ PGCET/ MAT/ CMAT. According to the RIT admission process, candidates have to appear either for PGCET or KMAT to enrol in the MCA programmed.

A candidate must pass in 10 + 2 examination (equivalent to the 2 years Pre-university in Karnataka).
Admission to 5 years B.Arch., Course with five hundredth marks in Physics, Chemistry and arithmetic and conjointly five hundredth marks in the mixture at 10+2 level of examination and English is one in every of the Language.
