Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) 2022 is online computer based exam, conducted by AICTE. CMAT 2021 is the official gateway for admissions to the University and AICTE approved MBA/PGDM programmes for 2022 batch across the country. CMAT will be held in January 2022. It is conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) each year. As per CMAT Eligibility, a candidate must possess a full-time Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks as aggregate.

Here are some key points about CMAT 2022:

CMAT Registration window will become functional in October 2017. Candidates can register themselves till December 2017 at aicte-cmat.in. They must enter all their personal/ academic information, upload their recent photograph and pay the application fee to complete the registration process.
CMAT 2018 will be conducted in January 2018 in online mode.
It is an objective type exam. Questions will be asked from Language Skills, Quantitative Skills, General Awareness and Logical Skills.
As for CMAT Marking Scheme, each question carries 4 marks and 1 mark would be deducted for every incorrect response.
CMAT 2018 Result is expected to be declared in February 2018.

Based CMAT Cut off, that generally ranges between 75-100 percentiles for top B-schools, candidates will be eligible to take admission to various CMAT Participating Institutes like BIT Mesra, KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, JBIMS Mumbai, XISS Ranchi, etc.

CMAT Eligibility Criteria

All the management aspirants must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by AICTE before they apply for CMAT 2018. Some of the important details regarding CMAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below-

Applicants must have an Indian citizenship.
Graduation with a minimum study of 3-years duration.
A minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of applicants belonging to reserved category) in their graduation.
Minimum age of the applicant should be 21 years.
There is no upper age limit for CMAT.

CMAT Exam Pattern

As per the CMAT Exam Pattern prescribed by AICTE, the online question paper will have 4 sections. The total number of questions is 100 and the total marks allocated is 400. The paper will be set in English. Aspirants can check highlights of CMAT 2018 Exam Pattern below-

CMAT Cut Off Trend

CMAT Cut off will be released course-wise and category-wise for each college. All CMAT Participating Colleges will be declaring their individual cutoff based on the merit list released by AICTE. By cutoff we mean, the least percentile that they will decide after considering various factors and based on which they will select candidates for granting admission.
