Bharti Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune
Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University was established in 1978, is a premier institute of International Excellence in the field of Legal Education. This College is part of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University and also approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and recognized with University Grant Commission (UGC) New Delhi.
The college was inaugurated in the year 1978 at the hands of Hon. Mr. Justice Y.V. Chandrachud the then Chief Justice of India. The foundation stone of the New Law College building was laid down in the year 2004 at the hands of the Chief Justice of India Hon. Mr. Justice K.G. Balakrishnan, the then judge Supreme Court of India.
The College affiliation is approved by the Bar Council of India through Letter No. BCI-D-1029, (2009(1-E.Mtg) Dated 7/7/2009.The college is also recognized under 2f & 12b of the UGC Act 1956. The college is Re-Accreditated with “A+” Grade by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (3rd Cycle).

Admission Criteria

- As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10+2 or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicant.
- The maximum age for seeking admission into stream of 5 years bachelor degree course in law is limited to 20 years in general category and in case of SC, ST and OBC applicants it is limited to 22 years.

Apart from the normal Admission Process, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University – New Law College also offers Direct Admission in BBA-LLB and BA-LLB Courses under Management Quota seats. Candidates who were appeared for BVP-CET Test but unfortunately couldn’t be performed well or scored less in the same, Management Quota seats are the only hope for them who are really keen to study Legal (BBA-LLB & BA-LLB) Courses at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University – New Law College Pune.
