Eligibility Criteria

A student shall be eligible for entrance into semester I of the BBA., LL.B. 5 year Integrated Course in LLB if he / she has passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination held by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other examination which is recognized by the University as equivalent thereto provided that :

1. Such student must have obtained minimum 45 % marks in the aggregate in the qualifying examination; Candidate belonging to scheduled cast, scheduled tribes, other Backward classes (OBC) shall be eligible to apply if they secure at least 40 % marks in the qualifying examination.
2. Such student has not passed any other examination higher than the 10+2 examination mentioned above prior to seeking entrance into the course.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit for five-year course is 20 years for general category and 22 years for SC/ST at the time of appearing for SET Exam.

Entrance Process

Seat Intake

Separate Merit Lists for B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes will be prepared and published. At the time of SET registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply.

Candidate is free to choose any one or both of the above-mentioned programmes. No request for change of Programme will be entertained at any stage.
